There Was Plenty To Do At Fall Fest

(LEWES, Del.) - On Saturday a lot people flocked to Fall Fest at the Bethel United Methodist Church. Some enjoyed face painting, working on bird feeders, and bean bag toss.

There were plenty of children games. Brianna Porter bounced the ball and had fun with the parachute games. But also learned a very important life lesson.

"Sharing with others is a good thing, and working together to make something fun is also a good thing," said Porter.

Fall Fest featured 40 vendors with unique crafts, homemade desserts, and lots more.

It was all about helping Immanuel Shelter, which provides for the homeless.Kathy Gregson was the chairperson for the event.

"We recognized the needs of the Immanuel Shelter and we wanted to financially help them this year especially as they are trying to get their new site at Belltown

Church," said Gregson.

Zoe Elzey recognized how important this event was.

"It is a good thing because it goes to the Emmanuel Shelter which is for people that don't have homes and all the money raised goes to them which is important," said Elzey.

Gregson said this event will be back next year and she hopes it will be even bigger.
