(MAGNOLIA, Del.) - Delaware State Police are investigating an armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver in Magnolia.
On Sunday at around 10:23 p.m. near Peachtree Run and Millchop Lane, a 22-year old Papa John's driver attempted to deliver a pizza to an address on Fox Hollow Drive and found that the address didn't exist. He stopped at another address on Fox Hollow Drive and spoke to the resident. The homeowner confirmed that he did not order a pizza.
As the driver began to leave the neighborhood to make his next delivery he reached the intersection of Fox Hollow Drive and Fox Run Drive and was approached by three suspects that confirmed they had ordered the pizza. One of the suspects produced a handgun. Another suspect was holding a baseball bat. The three suspects demanded money and the victim's cell phone. The victim complied and handed over money and his cell phone. The armed suspect then punched the victim's face. The three suspects fled the scene on foot in a westbound direction on Fox Hollow Drive. The victim was not injured.
The first suspect is described as a black male approximately 6' 00" tall, 200 lbs., 25-30 years old, dark skin, with his face covered, armed with an unknown handgun. The second suspect is described as a black male approximately 5'04" tall, 175 lbs., 25-30 years old and armed with baseball bat. The third suspect is described as a black male approximately 5'04" tall, 175 lbs., 25-30 years old.
