(SALISBURY, Md.) - James M. Bennett High School in Salisbury is quiet today one day after a student brawl resulting in multiple arrests.
Now, we have information about a second fight in the Wicomico County District, which sent one teacher to the hospital.
It happened at Choices Academy, an alternative school for students with discipline problems. Police tell WRDE a group of students was fighting when the teacher tried to break it up.
She fell, hit her head and had to be taken to the hospital.
A Wicomico County School District spokesman responded to WRDE with a text message.
In the text, the district said, "The incidents are under investigation and we do not have anything to add at this time."
The district also said the students' safety was their highest priority and they hope everyone was going back to have a normal and productive day.
Parents and teachers are hoping for the same thing - not just today but every day.
