(CAMBRIDGE, Md.)- A dead woman is found in a Cambridge home Sunday night. Through investigation and after speaking to the Medical Examiner's Office it has been determined that there was no foul play resulting to the death of the female and appears she died of natural causes.
Police received a 911 call regarding a medical problem at a residence on the 500 block of High St, Sunday at 10 p.m.
When officers arrived they found a 45 year old woman unresponsive in the house, police said.
EMS confirmed she was deceased. As with any death in a home it is treated as a crime scene until offciers discover evidence to indicate otherwise.
Since this victim was not under a doctor's care we notified the Medical Examiner's office and requested assistance from the Maryland State Police crime scene unit.
They are currently waiting for autopsy results to determine the direction of the investigation.
