(Lewes,Del)-The Cape Vikings boy's basketball team is riding a four game winning streak. Coach Stephen Re said this team has a balanced scoring attack.
"I think everyone contributes at a pretty high efficiency and that makes us difficult to play against us,"said Coach Re.
Vikings Coach Re is using a lot of drills to prepare his team for game situations. Ian Robertson said the drills are very beneficial.
"So when we get in the game it is like second nature and we know exactly what we are doing,it is muscle memory and we are just doing it,"said Robertson.
The 12-5 Vikings only have four seniors on the squad. Senior Jerry Harden said he is is trying to be more of a leader this year.
"By giving my effort everyday in practice, and showing them defense and giving it my all everyday,"said
Harden.
The Vikings only have three games left in the regular season. They have a big game against Smyrna.
Robertson mentioned what it will take to get the win.
"Playing together,playing hard,attacking the basket,and playing defense,"said Robertson.
