(Rehoboth Beach, Del) - Rehoboth Beach voters have spoken when it comes to an ordinance that will affect futures home in the resort community. It determines the natural area, floor area ratio and lot coverage of new construction.
1,482 voters were cast, 785 in favor, 697 against the measure.
During the summer Commissioners discussed enacting new regulations governing lot size, natural area, back yards and other proposed requirements.
The concern of some was that rental homes were getting too large, housing too many vacationers and creating too much noise.
