(OCEAN CITY, Md.) - Rain or shine, Ocean City is a place to have fun. People go out to enjoy the area even in wet weather.
The Hernandez sisters, Celine and Jackie, are visiting from Illinois. Jackie says she wanted to come to Ocean City for vacation because she wanted to have fun with her family.
Lots of families are at the boardwalk despite the rain.
Pam Dorfler is here with her parents, husband, son, and grandson. She says her Mom, Sherri Garrison, has been coming to Ocean City since she was a kid.
Randy Green is at the boardwalk eating with his two sons. He says that they plan to ride go-carts, go to Ripley's museum, and go swimming.
"You're getting wet anyway," Green tells WRDE.
Aidan Bailey is also at the boardwalk with his grandfather. "I thought it would be a lot of fun to just walk around and get some lunch and all that," Bailey says.
James Magordy, chef by trade and guest on Food Network's Cooks vs. Cons, visits Ocean City with his friend's family on his Fourth of July vacation. He tells WRDE that they plan to go to the arcade.
Jorge Marin, who's also on vacation, says he wants to enjoy the beautiful state of Maryland. "It's just water, it ain't gonna hurt nothing, I hope!" Jorge says.
