(Wilmington, Del) - A whistleblower lawsuit against the Sussex Technical School District has been settled.
A teacher who was fired by the Sussex Technical School District received a settlement of $95,000 regarding his claims of a whistleblower for informing management of copying textbooks and other copyrighted materials without permission of the publisher.
Without admitting liability the school district settled the case on federal court involving Tom Keeton a teacher in the Adult Education Unit.
The Sussex Technical School District is still recovering from the State Auditor's report over spending irregularities. Three District Administrators are currently on paid level.
