Surfing Championship
The ESA’s 2025 Northeast Regional Surfing Championship takes over Ocean City this weekend, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Over 200 surfers from Maryland to Maine will compete for a spot in the 2025 Eastern Surfing Championship. The family-friendly event is free to attend and will be held in midtown Ocean City. Arts & Fun Fest
The 14th Annual Arts & Fun Fest takes place in Dewey Beach on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Hosted by the Dewey Business Partnership, this free event invites visitors to shop local and support artists just in time for Mother’s Day. Parking is free, making it a great opportunity to enjoy the community and local culture.
Lewes Train Day
Celebrate National Train Day on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lewes Junction, next to the Lewes Public Library. The Lewes Junction Railroad & Bridge Association will mark the completion of the Transcontinental Railroad with educational talks and exhibits. Learn more here.
Cape Run and Fun Fest
The Cape Run and Fun Fest brings an all-day celebration to Nassau Commons in Lewes on Saturday. From food trucks and local brews to cornhole and pickleball tournaments, there’s something for everyone. The event also features a 5K race to benefit the Harry K Foundation, with registration available online.
