DEWEY BEACH, Del. - The Dewey Business Partnership returns to Dewey Beach with their 14th annual Arts and Fun Fest on May 10 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The DBP says this event looks to continue its goal to provide opportunities to local vendors and artisans while allowing locals to soak in the spring vibes. With nearly 50 artists and vendors slated to appear at the event, executive director of the DBP Kelly Ranieri is excited for another year of community growth and tradition.
"Fourteen years is a long time to be offering this event, and we’re really proud of how the community is coming together," says Ranieri.
From ceramics to local photography to paintings and more, the DBP says plenty can be found for locals and families who attend. In addition, Ranieri will be hosting family friendly activities, including an art making station.
Food vendors will be available, in addition to a bar and a garden area for event goers to relax. Music will also be performed live by Marc Luckenbill from 11:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. In addition, more tunes can be heard only a short walk away at the Rudder. Steve and Marc will kick off the tunes there at 2 p.m., followed by the Carly Twigg Duo at 5 p.m. and rounded out by Benderz at 9 p.m.
The event can be found on Dickerson Street and parking is free. There is no make-up rain date in the event of severe weather.
