...AIR QUALITY ALERT IS IN EFFECT FOR WEDNESDAY AUGUST 6...

The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental
Control has issued a code orange air quality alert Wednesday
for Sussex County Delaware.

A code orange air quality alert means that air pollution
concentrations within the region may become unhealthy for
sensitive groups. Sensitive groups include children...people
suffering from asthma... heart disease or other lung
diseases...and the elderly. The effects of air pollution can
be minimized by avoiding strenuous activity or exercise outdoors.

Former Sussex Tech Cross Cross Coach Lou Nicoletti Dies At Age 70

The man who helped start the cross country program at Sussex Tech in the 1990's lost his battle to brain cancer last week. Louis Richard Nicoletti died at age 70 on Thursday April 9 at Harbor Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Lewes.
