OCEAN CITY, Md. - Music fans heading to Boardwalk Rock on May 17 will now see Alice in Chains take the stage in place of Mötley Crüe, after the band announced they are unable to perform due to the frontman’s health.

Alice in Chains has officially stepped in to fill the slot on May 17, and Mötley Crüe expressed gratitude to their friends saying, “We are immensely grateful to them for stepping up and bringing their awesome show to Boardwalk Rock,” the band added.
Boardwalk Rock is a music event at the Ocean City Inlet and will be put on for the first time ever this year. Other headliners of the festival include: Def Leppard, Nickelback and Shinedown.
