Delaware State Police are investigating after a woman’s body was found Saturday afternoon on Broadkill Beach.

MILTON, Del. — A woman’s body was found Saturday afternoon on Broadkill Beach, Delaware State Police said.
The body was discovered in the area of the 2500 block of South Bay Shore Drive, police said. Troopers are on the scene and the investigation is in its early stages.
Police did not immediately release the woman’s identity or additional details about the circumstances of the death.
