STEVENSVILLE, Md. - Traffic on the Bay Bridge has been temporarily halted due to high winds.
Traffic holds and bridge closures come when there are sustained wind speeds exceeding 55 mph for a continuous period of 10 minutes or more or wind gusts persistently exceed 50 mph over a 15-minute period, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.
