GEORGETOWN, Del. - The Delaware Department of Transportation announced the closure of Briarwood Road between Sand Hill Road and Shingle Point Road beginning on Monday, Jan. 30. The road will be closed through Friday, Feb. 17 for the installation of a cross road pipe.
A detour will be in place to guide drivers to Route 9.
