DOVER, De - Riding a high powered offense in the DIAA State Tournament, Cape Henlopen scored 16 goals in a dominating win over Tatnall to capture the program's 13th straight championship.
Sophomore Alexi Nowakowski had a multi-goal game for the Vikings, her first in goals of the tournament. In three postseason games, Cape racked up 56 goals.
Cape Henlopen ends 2022 with a 17-1 record, going undefeated against Delaware high school teams.
