DELAWARE - The Cape Henlopen women's field hockey team has now won back-to-back state championships. The Vikings claimed their second straight title when they went up against the number 2 team in the state the Smyrna Eagles and won 2-1.
With this championship win, the Vikings now have 14 in program history. The Vikings finished the season with a 17-2 record, starting the season red-hot with 12 straight wins.
