We Salute Donald Fitzgerald. Donald Fitzgerald served bravely with the 1st Cavalry Division during the Vietnam War. While stationed in An Khê, he carried out the dangerous and vital task of recovering downed aircraft and equipment under combat conditions. His courage and dedication exemplify the strength and sacrifice of those who served. We proudly salute Mr. Fitzgerald for his honorable service to our nation.
