REHOBOTH BEACH, Del.- For some, Christmas being three days away excites them, but for others, especially last minute shoppers, this can be a very stressful time. Whether life gets in the way, you're waiting for those last minute deals, or you simply just put off shopping as long as you could, everyone has probably fallen victim to the last minute scramble.
Colin Shalk told CoastTV he actually prefers shopping last minute because he says he finds the best gifts that way.
"Sometimes I will try to shop early and I see some gifts and I can't decide, and then I'm like maybe I should wait, so then last minute I wait to buy gifts, and I'm usually very successful", said Shalk.
No matter where people went shopping for gifts, whether it was in downtown Lewes or the Tanger Outlets, stores were busy, and so were the parking lots.
Others, like Eleanor Hoffman, are usually prepared for Christmas, but sometimes life gets the best of you.
"Well I'm usually prepared, but this year other things got in the way so here I am today on I believe December 22nd shopping," said Hoffman.
In the end it doesn't matter when you buy your Christmas gifts because making someone happy is worth the hassle.
