SALISBURY, Md. - The 2025 Maryland Folk Festival will take place from September 19 to 21 in downtown Salisbury, Maryland. The event will include a special stage for local performers, sponsored by Salisbury University and the Charles R. and Martha N. Fulton School of Liberal Arts.
This will be the third year SU and the Fulton School supports the Salisbury University Locals Stage, which highlights musicians from the Eastern Shore and nearby areas.
Performers on the Locals Stage include:
- Bella Masone (Delaware): A 17-year-old singer-songwriter with pop, R&B, and acoustic influences.
- daybloom (Salisbury, MD): A pop-rock band known for energetic performances.
- Housing Co. (Salisbury, MD): An indie pop/rock band preparing to release their second album in 2025.
- SPH+2 (Eastern Shore, MD): A jazz trio led by saxophonist Stephen Philip Harvey.
- Sympaticocious (MD, NY, CA): A group blending rock, folk, reggae, and other genres.
- Todd Smith and Friends (Salisbury, MD): A blues group led by longtime performer Todd Smith.
- Uncle Kunkel’s One Gram Band (Baltimore, MD): A funk/rock band known for improvisation.
- Vox Concordia (Salisbury, MD): A chamber choir performing music from many styles and time periods.
