GEORGETOWNÂ Del.-Â Sussex County Habitat for Humanity is looking to expand its operations with a new 3,200-square-foot office and warehouse facility on Kimmey Street.
The property is located in the Urban Business District, which allows for commercial development, but the project must first gain approval from the Town of Georgetown’s Planning Commission.
The commission will evaluate the application to ensure the site meets zoning regulations, including traffic flow, safety, drainage, and compatibility with surrounding developments.
A review of the preliminary site plans is scheduled for March 19 at 6 p.m., where town officials will discuss the proposal before making a decision.
