LEWES, Del. — The Cape Henlopen School District experienced phone and internet outages at several locations, affecting communication at the Fred Thomas Building, the District Office, Cape Henlopen High School, Frederick D. Thomas Middle School and Lewes Elementary School early Wednesday morning. As of about 2 p.m. the phones and internet are back to working, said a Facebook post from the school district.

The school encouraged parents with children at Frederick D. Thomas Middle School, Lewes Elementary School or Cape Henlopen High School to check their email for alternative contact information if they needed to reach their child’s school.
