Registration opens Sept.1 for Delaware’s 27th annual Becoming an Outdoors-Woman weekend, featuring hands-on outdoor skills courses Oct. 2-4 at Camp Barnes near Frankford.

Students and staff from the University of Delaware and Delaware Sea Grant got their hands, and boots, dirty Tuesday during a hands-on crab pot removal and cleaning event.

Fenwick Island Dredging Committee is making progress in the dredging plan for Little Assawoman Bay. They are waiting to get grant money as well as deciding what site will take the salt and silt materials once the bay is dredged.
