General Firearm Deer Season in Delaware begins on Friday, Nov. 14. While Maryland’s two-week firearms season for sika and white-tailed deer opens Saturday, Nov. 29.

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources is reporting an almost identical harvest compared to the last year for the deer firearm season opener. the department says despite below-normal temperatures, hunters and junior hunters contributed to managing the deer population.
