The Delmarva Warriors ice hockey team is fighting to keep the ice rink on the Delaware State Fairgrounds open, expressing deep sadness over its impending closure. The rink served over 200 youth and adults, but financial challenges led to its closure in May 2025, with plans to repurpose it as a multi-use event center.

Outdoor enthusiasts are gearing up for the second annual DSN Outdoors Expo, slated for April 19 and 20 at the Delaware State Fairgrounds in Harrington. The expo, which is free to the public, will run from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
