A suspicious item discovered Monday afternoon in downtown Salisbury turned out to be harmless, following a response from local fire crews and the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s bomb squad.

Drivers in Georgetown should expect lane and shoulder closures on East Market Street starting Thursday, April 10, as Delmarva Central Railroad crews begin maintenance work at the railroad crossing.

The Delaware Department of Transportation will be closing the shoulder and lane on East Market Street beginning April 9 at 9 a.m.
