The organization is most known for giving and installing new flags to veterans who wish to have them and properly retiring old flags. They are looking for other ways to honor veterans in a city that is known for its historical significance.
A group of veterans started the American Flag Guardians organization in an effort to assist other veterans who can not afford a new flag or be able to put up their own flag at their home.
