Ocean City eyes $1.5M to kick off the Baltimore Avenue project.

Georgetown leaders are preparing to pursue major state funding to upgrade the town’s water treatment system amid concerns over "emerging contaminants" found in the local supply.

The Maryland Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Administration’s Highway Safety Office announced it will distribute $12.9 million in federal highway safety grants to 96 organizations across the state. The initiative is part of Maryland’s continued efforts to prevent car crashes and eliminate roadway deaths.

The Milton Town Council voted Monday night to move forward with purchasing six downtown parcels for $1.65 million.

Milton is considering purchasing six lots totaling just under 2 acres for $1.65 million.

The Delaware Tourism Office has awarded $10 million through the Sports Tourism Capital Investment Fund to five sports facilities.
