Sussex County Council approved a zoning change and conditional use for 94 multi-family dwellings within the Northstar development in Lewes in hopes of supporting workforce housing and preventing future development of more expensive homes.
With the record now closed, Sussex County Council is expected to vote on the project’s three ordinances in the coming weeks. A specific date for the vote has not yet been announced.
A proposed development in Lewes is set to go ahead of the Sussex County Planning and Zoning Commission during a public hearing on Wednesday, July 17.
