Two young seals are recovering after separate recent rescues by MERR along Delaware's coast.
A young gray seal took a dangerous detour this week, crossing four lanes of traffic on Route 1 near the Indian River Inlet Bridge, before MERR stepped in to rescue her.
A grey seal pup found bleeding from multiple wounds, was rescued from the rocky north side of the Indian River Inlet on Monday, according to the Marine Education, Research & Rehabilitation Institute.
