The Ocean City Town Council held the first reading of ordinance 2024-23 on Monday night. The ordinance would allow the town to issue bonds for renovations to the Ocean City Convention Center and improvements to the town’s golf course clubhouse.
The Ocean City Town Council is looking to adjust the regulations that govern marijuana dispensaries in the coastal town. The council held a meeting on Monday to move the process forward.
All that is required for the finalization of a ban on using houseboats as a rental for people to live while visiting Ocean City is for the second reading of an ordinance to proceed without any issues. That reading is scheduled for Monday night's Mayor and Council Meeting.
