Lead outreach worker Michelle Gibbs says one of the many ways they serve seniors is by taking care of their pets too. Gibbs says a lot of seniors share their food with their pets so they don't go hungry. Gibbs donated two big bags of dog food to one man on Monday.

The Sussex County Council has introduced an ordinance amending property tax exemptions for senior citizens and disabled residents, raising property value and income thresholds while extending residency requirements.

The preliminary plans for another office building off of Kings Highway were recently approved. The new construction will be on three acres of farm land across from Cape Henlopen High School.
