A statewide mobile food pantry will travel to dozens of Delaware communities this July, offering families in need fresh produce, nonperishable items, refrigerated goods and personal products.

The event takes place on Saturday, May 17 at 9 a.m. with a rain date on Saturday, May 24 at 9 a.m. Senior Corporal Wharton, who spearheads the event says the department is looking for more players. 

Annual Medicaid eligibility renewal determinations have begun for the first time since the start of the pandemic. Most people currently receiving services under Medicaid have actions to take to avoid gaps in health coverage.
