Enrollment for English as a Second Language, or ESL, classes has doubled from the 2022 school year at Sussex Technical Adult Education, prompting the addition of classes at some sites and the opening of new locations to accommodate the significant increase.

Sussex Technical High School is hosting an eighth grade open house on Saturday, Nov. 18 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the school.

Georgetown Middle School is inviting professionals from various fields to speak to students in career and technical education classes.

Eligible programs include health professions, skilled trades, the Groves Adult High School, and ESL workforce development.

The feature demonstrates ways that Delaware high schoolers get first-hand experience in exploring different career paths.
