Beginning Feb. 1, 2026, domestic air travelers without a REAL ID-compliant license, passport or other acceptable identification will have the option to use TSA ConfirmID, an optional, fee-based identity verification program at airport security checkpoints.
The TSA is predicting record-breaking passenger numbers for this Labor Day weekend, urging travelers to arrive early and pack their patience.
