After over a decade of dedicated service, State Rep. Ruth Briggs King (R-Georgetown/Millsboro) has announced her resignation from the Delaware House of Representatives, effective immediately.

The minimum wage in Maryland could be going up sooner than alot of people expected. A new bill looks to raise the minimum wage by October of 2023. 

Maryland could get a new bill that would stop employers from claiming their employees tips as apart of their minimum wage salary. The bill would require restaurants to pay their employees the state required minimum wage.
