Dell Curry has learned that the Charlotte Hornets will retire his No. 30 jersey. The announcement came Wednesday, and the ceremony is set for March 23 when the Hornets host the Orlando Magic. Curry, father of NBA stars Stephen and Seth Curry, will be the second player whose jersey is retired by Charlotte, joining Bobby Phills. He played 16 NBA seasons, 10 with Charlotte, and was the NBA's sixth man of the year in 1993-94. Curry expressed gratitude, saying the game and fans have given him so much. He remains a broadcaster for the team and calls Charlotte home.
