The 2024 hurricane season is getting underway and the season is forecast to be one of the most active seasons on record. It is important that Delmarva residents begin now to prepare for the potential impacts that hurricane season can bring.

Monarch butterfly populations have been precipitously falling over the past few decades. It’s estimated that the eastern monarch butterfly population has decreased nearly 90% since the 1990s.
Warmer weather has returned and with that follows the return of insects, some of which can cause problems for people. May is Tick Awareness Month and it falls during the time of year when ticks tend to be at their worst.
