GEORGETOWN, Del. - The Delaware Department of Corrections is looking for an inmate who did not return to the Sussex Community Corrections Center following an approved leave.
On Wednesday, Shaun Anderson left the center in Georgetown on an approved job seeking pass. Such approvals are normal as offenders within Community Corrections Centers are allowed to leave these facilities for work, job seeking, and medical treatment.
Officials are now calling his leave "unauthorized" as he has yet to return to the facility and his whereabouts are unknown at this time.
The 41-year old's current offenses include violation of probation and theft of a motor vehicle.
A warrant has been issued Anderson's arrest. Anyone with information is being asked to contact police.
