DELMARVA- Memorial Day marks the start of the summer season on Delmarva and this year, some major events are celebrating milestone anniversaries.
Ocean City Air Show
The Ocean City Air Show returns to the skies June 14 and 15. Expect a high-flying weekend with military fighter jets, aerial performers, parachute teams and more. The event draws large crowds to the beach and boardwalk for an unforgettable display.
Running of the Bull
Dewey Beach transforms into its own version of Pamplona on June 28 for the annual Running of the Bull. For more than 27 years, The Starboard has hosted the quirky, crowd-packed event. A 'matador' leads the fun, all to raise money for the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company.

Lewes hosts both a boat parade and the whimsical Doo Dah Parade, where anything goes when it comes to floats.
Bethany Beach continues its classic Fourth of July celebration. This year’s parade theme is “Traditions Thrive in ’25.”
Rehoboth Beach will host its fireworks show on Saturday, July 5.
Chincoteague Pony Swim
The 100th annual Pony Swim takes place July 30-31 in Chincoteague. Saltwater Cowboys will once again round up wild ponies and foals, guiding them across the channel. The next day, the ponies are auctioned off to manage the herd and raise funds for the volunteer fire company that cares for them year-round.
