DART Bus

The crash involved a Delaware DART First State bus, though it is unclear how many people were on board at the time. 

MILTON, Del. - Six people are in the hospital after a multi-vehicle crash Friday morning that involved a DART bus and three cars.

The Milton Police Department says the crash happened around 10 a.m. at the intersection of Milton Ellendale Highway and Mulberry Street. The Milton Police and Fire Departments responded to the scene.

The crash involved a Delaware DART First State bus, though it is unclear how many people were on board at the time. The DART bus started a chain reaction when it hit the back of a car, causing that car to hit another. According to police, six people were hurt and taken to area hospitals for treatment. There is no word yet on the extent of their injuries.

Traffic was slowed in the area for several hours as crews cleared the scene and investigated the cause of the crash.
