A multi-agency search is ongoing for a missing swimmer, a Black male in his 20s, last seen at Rehoboth Beach. The search involves local authorities and the U.S. Coast Guard, with a plea for information from witnesses.

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. - A multi-agency search is underway for a missing swimmer last seen Saturday evening in the ocean near Olive Avenue, according to the Rehoboth Beach Police Department.

Police said they were called to the beach at approximately 7:38 p.m. on July 12 for a report of a swimmer who had gone missing in the surf. The search involves the Rehoboth Beach Police Department, U.S. Coast Guard, Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company, and Delaware State Police Aviation.

The missing swimmer is described as a Black male in his 20s, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing between 160 and 170 pounds.
