REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. - Bayhealth President and CEO Terry Murphy recently outlined the healthcare system’s expansion plans during a presentation at the Rehoboth Beach Country Club.
Murphy provided updates on growth strategies for Bayhealth Hospital’s Kent and Sussex campuses and emphasized the continued need for philanthropic support to sustain the system’s programs and services.
“Bayhealth is growing to keep up with the people and communities we serve in Sussex and Kent counties,” Murphy said. “Our expansion plans are all about making sure everyone has access to the care they need, close to home.”
Bayhealth, the largest healthcare system in central and southern Delaware, is working to improve the patient experience by adding private rooms, enhancing comfort and healing, and adapting facilities to meet evolving healthcare needs.
The Bayhealth Foundation also discussed current initiatives and shared information about giving opportunities, including support for the Ann L. Burton Childcare Center at the Sussex Campus.
