LONG NECK, Del. – Beebe Healthcare welcomed people who live in the area to an open house at its new facility in Long Neck on Wednesday afternoon.

Beebe Healthcare welcomed people who live in the area to an open house at its new facility in Long Neck on Wednesday afternoon

The event began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 3 p.m., followed by guided tours every 30 minutes through 6:30 p.m. The open house featured family-friendly activities and gave guests a chance to explore Beebe Primary Care Long Neck, home to the Family Medicine Residency Practice.

With four new physician residents arriving this summer, the practice anticipates offering about 20,000 appointments each year. During the event, guests could learn more about the wide range of services provided at the facility, including:

Primary care for all ages

Comprehensive women’s health services

Obstetrical care, including prenatal and postnatal support

*Men’s health services

*Pediatric care

*Mental health programs

*Dermatology services

*Osteopathic manipulative medicine

*Point-of-care ultrasound

*Health education and wellness support

In addition, the open house offered face painting, car seat safety checks, gift bags, and refreshments from the Pretzelvania food truck. Representatives from the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company, Sussex County EMS, and Beebe’s Mobile Health Clinic were also in attendance.
