Rocking the Docks music

LEWES, Del. - Rocking the Docks will bring music and purpose together this Thursday, July 17, with a special benefit concert supporting the SL24 Unlocke The Light Foundation. The event kicks off the foundation’s “Bump, Set, Light” summer campaign, which aims to raise awareness and provide mental health education and resources for students and young adults.

According to organizers, the concert will occur at the Lewes Ferry Terminal, where Yacht Lobsters will perform two sets of smooth, harmony-rich yacht rock classics against the scenic Delaware Bay backdrop. Gates open at 5 p.m. for VIP ticket holders and at 5:30 p.m. for general admission. Music begins around 6 p.m.

Beyond the music, the evening promises a community-focused atmosphere with a local vendor market and a variety of food trucks.

Organizers say guests can enjoy wood-fired pizza from DaNizza, pasta from Grandpa Mac, pretzels from Pretzelvania, empanadas from Shore Island Empanadas, and sweet treats from Cup 'R Cone Ice Cream. Grain on the Rocks will also offer a special menu onsite.

Tickets are available online, and kids under 12 get in free.
