SALISBURY, Md. — Breeze Airways is bringing its services to Salisbury. The airline announced new nonstop flights to Orlando beginning Oct. 1. Flights will run twice weekly, on Mondays and Fridays, between Salisbury-Ocean City Wicomico Regional Airport and Orlando International Airport.
"We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Breeze Airways to our airport,” said Julie M. Giordano, county executive for Wicomico County. “This new service, offering a direct flight to Orlando International Airport, brings exciting travel opportunities to our residents and opens new doors for tourism and economic growth in our region. Breeze’s commitment to affordability and convenience aligns perfectly with our vision for the future of air travel in Wicomico County.”
Congressman Andy Harris, who represents Maryland’s 1st District, praised the announcement referring to the airport as a "critical infrastructure hub" and "regional destination."
"The addition of this airline service will increase economic activity in our region and better accommodate the travel plans of my constituents.” said Harris.
The addition marks Salisbury/Ocean City as the 71st city served by Breeze as the airline continues expanding nationwide.
“Breeze is all about expanding service to underserved markets, and Salisbury fits this to a tee,” said Breeze Airways’ founder and CEO David Neeleman.
Breeze Airways was founded in 2021 and will be operated on Airbus A220-300 aircraft. This includes features such as premium seating, high-speed WiFi and customizable fare bundles with flexible booking options, says the airline.
The $59 promotional fare is available through May 13 for travel between Oct. 1 and Jan. 6, 2026. Restrictions and blackout dates may apply.
This comes after Avelo airlines, out of the Wilmington Airport, has brought back nonstop flights to the Nashville International Airport.
