Charlie Sokaitis moved to Delmarva to help kick off the morning news broadcast at CoastTV with CoastTV News Today and CoastTV News Midday in 2021. He's been a journalist since graduating from the University of Alaska Fairbanks in 2004.
DELAWARE -Â The Cape Henlopen Girls Lacrosse team has won the State Championship after an incredible 12-8 victory over Tatnall in the DIAA title game.
For the Cape team, this is a revenge win, Tatnall beat Cape in the championship game in 2023. That Lady Vikings loss put an end to a run of 13 consecutive titles. With Thursday's win Cape Henlopen is back atop the lacrosse world in Delaware and they've won an incredible 14 of the last 15 championships.
