We Salute Gerard L. Ritzinger. Jerry joined the United States Air Force right out of high school, serving four years with his final year in Vietnam. He then dedicated 20 years to the New York City Fire Department before retiring on medical grounds. Though already retired on 9/11, he reported to Ground Zero the next day and spent months supporting the recovery effort.
