REHOBOTH BEACH, Del.- The Nation's Summer Capital will have the Commander-in-Chief as a resident this weekend.
According to the official White House press schedule, President Joe Biden will arrive in Rehoboth Beach at 1:25 p.m. on Friday. The Bidens are likely to arrive by helicopter, as Cape Henlopen State Park announced the closure of the Gordons Pond parking area from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. That lot is used as a landing pad for Marine One.
There is no word yet on what President Biden will do on his weekend trip, or if First Lady Dr. Jill Biden is accompanying him. The last time the first couple was here, they rode bikes in Cape Henlopen State Park.
