REHOBOTH BEACH, Del.- The Delaware Department of Transportation announces Route 1 will be reduced from 3 lanes to 2 lanes in both directions starting April 9.

Old Landing Road will also have a single left turn lane closure on from 3 a.m. through 3 p.m. for final roadway surface improvements. The Department has been doing work in the area for months.

If weather imposes the need for a rain date, it will be Wednesday, April 10th. Drivers are reminded by DelDOT to use caution and slow down in work zones.
